Englischer Gospelchor besucht GymHim
Ein Highlight unserer Projektwoche war der englische Gospelchor Youthful Spirit aus Hildesheims Partnerstadt Weston-super-Mer, der für zwei Tage am GymHim zu Gast war. Zusammen mit 25 Schülern unserer Schule wurden mit großer Begeisterung Gospels eingeübt, die dann in einer gemeinsamen Performance vorgeführt wurden. Nach einem großen Erfolg vor der versammelten Schulgemeinschaft in der Pausenhalle von „Heaven’s Door“ trat der englisch-deutsche Projektchor am Mittag in der Arnekengalerie und später vor einer begeisterten Fangemeinde auf dem Marktplatz auf.

Youthful Spirit in Heaven’s Door
A great experience was the gospel choir project with „Youthful Spirit“ from Hildesheim’s partner town Weston-super-Mer coming to our school! It was amazing to see how our students were included and after just a short time could sing together with this fantastic choir of young English singers. Performances in our hall as well as on the market square and Hildesheim’s shopping mall Arneken Gallery showed the results of a really great project to a fan community.
